Sewage Plumbing and Wastewater Drainage

The Master Flush Plumbing team are professional experts whom you can trust. We offer friendly and reliable sewer line and pipe plumbing servicing to Sydney’s residential and commercial plumbing needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Sewage Plumbing System

Commercial and residential plumbing consists of pipes which bring clean water to the building and drain or take water away. Sewage pipes in the premises drain away internal wastewater from bathrooms, kitchens, toilets, laundries, sinks and tubs.

  • Kitchen Plumbing
  • Bathroom Plumbing
  • Laundry Plumbing
  • Toilet Plumbing

Wastewater from these areas enter into the sewer line (sewage system). From there it flows into the local sewer main and onto one of the state treatment plants for processing.

Wastewater should never enter clean water pipes. This scenario can happen by wastewater backflow entering the system if plumbing blockages are left too long. If you are experiencing a wastewater problem, call us today.

Legally Compliant Plumbing

By law, plumbers and drainers in Sydney, Illawarra, Blue Mountains and the Newcastle area must submit a Notice of Work (NoW) to Fair Trading NSW before starting all new plumbing and drainage work.

The exceptions are emergency work and 'minor works' such as replacing taps and fixtures, fixing existing hot water systems, or bathroom renovations where the location of plumbing fixtures will not change.

All plumbing work carried out by the team at Master Flush Plumbing is certified and compliant. If you need advice on work you are about to undertake, call us today and get the right advice. We ensure that all work is done legally and legitimately.

Septic Tanks

Onsite sewage management systems, are systems that processes wastewater and disposes of the effluent within the premises. The two main types of onsite sewage management are;

  • Septic Tanks
  • Aerated Wastewater Treatment Systems

If you are installing a new onsite sewage management system, it must be accredited by NSW Health or meet the required standards. The NSW Government regulations require that every septic system needs to be registered with the council. The council then issues an 'approval to operate a system of sewage management'.

There are high penalties for failing septic systems which can pollute stormwater, rivers and groundwater. Fines up to $120,000 for individuals and $250,000 for corporations for pollution offences under New South Wales law.

The team at Master Flush Plumbing can help install, monitor and manage your sewage management system. We will ensure that your system is consistently compliant with the council’s requirements.
